Hi all; I picked up "T-Bone" from Sue on Friday, and he went on the GCR monthly ride to Graeagle on Saturday;

Linda G took him up to Graeagle and I took him back home.  The ride was led by Janet D; and included Linda G;
Linda S; Lindy; Noni; Jeanie (me) along with support members Chet, Jim, and Max.

 It was a beautiful day and we had smooth sailing; good roads and perfect weather.

We went up HW 80 east to HW 49 on to Gold River and into  89 to Graeagle;  coming home we took 89 south

into Truckee and back down  old HW 40 to HW 20 into Grass Valley and back down 49 to Roseville.

T-Bone's visit was short but sweet! He enjoyed riding with the GRC riders
up to Graeagle up in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. Look for
pictures on his web page. T-Bone is on his way to Tennessee! While I was
not able to join him for his California adventure, I hear he had a great
time.  ~Sue

email from Janice, October 11, 2008

T-Bone has been very busy.  Two of our girls kidnapped him and took him almost to Canada to Shelby, MT and the train station.  He had a ride to another town and his picture with the Rocky Mountain in the background and this weekend we took him to a women's event "What Women Want".  Everyone wanted him!  T-Bone now has a leather hat, a lot of pins, a Montana patch, a dog-bone ID with his name on it and a photo album filled with pictures and we are still taking pictures.  Sunday after some of the girls are meeting at Montana Air Nation Guard for more pictures.  I almost forgot, T-Bone was the honored guest at the Treasure State Lady Riders 2nd birthday party.

Thanks, Janice Allestad

Lady Cruisers Of The Ozarks!!

Here's an email we received from T-Bone March 10th:

(He must be having FUN, because this is the first email we've received from him)

Hi Kay this is T-bone.  I made it to Missouri.  Deana the director of the Lady Cruisers of the Ozarks took me to their February monthly meeting.  There I was introduced to Dee who is in charge of the "Special Passenger Division".  When we got to Dee's house she introduced me to 2 other special passengers Jackie the Frog and Skelly the Skeleton.   It was really to cold or wet to ride the bikes at all.  Dee took me by a couple of farms while I was in Missouri.  My stay was pretty short but I wouldn't mind going back to Missouri.   Let me tell ya there are alot of good looking heifers in Missouri. (See photos in my journal).  Dee said my next stop was in Prairiesvilles, LA.  Maybe it will be a little warmer there.

T-Bone had been around so many people, he just wanted a little time alone and what better place than to look down on the Louisiana State Capitol Gardens

Although T-Bone arrived shortly after Mardi Gras, we had saved him some beads
